Rosa “Rosie” A. Caro-Hoppe
Rosa earned her master’s degree in bilingual-bicultural education from Loyola University in Chicago. She retired from the Chicago Public Schools system.
She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Boulder Junction, and Rosa’s hobbies and interests included being a food stylist, crocheting, photography, birds, flowers, fishing and poetry.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward F. Hoppe, and further survived by her siblings Nilda, Ritin, Pali, and Israel and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaspar and Delia Caro.
Cremation took place and private family services were held and a celebration of life service will be held this summer.
