Steve is preceded in death by his parents. Steve was raised in St. Paul and Duluth, Minn. He graduated from St. Paul Harding High School. Steve worked for Asset Restoration Technologies as a restoration technician and supervisor of many clean up/restoration jobs, including the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 and several natural disasters. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, long walks, and sports. He especially liked cheering on the Vikings (even in the middle of Packer Country!) We will all miss his great sense of humor.
Steve is survived by his life partner, Terri Trickey of Boulder Junction; his daughter, Amy (Jason) Golden of Warrenton, Va.; grandchildren, Emerson, Riley, and Easton Golden; his sisters, Suzanne Gadbaw of Duluth, Minn., Dana (Matt) Peterson of Rochester, Minn., brother, David Gadbaw, of Duluth, Minn.; nieces, Katie Gadbaw-Kapaun, Brigette, Madeline, and Meagan Peterson, nephew, Kirk Peterson; and his many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
