He was raised in Minocqua and graduated from Minocqua High School. In his early years, he could be found bartending at Louie’s Bar whenever he wasn’t out hunting or fishing with his buddies.
Fuzzy married the love of his life Patricia (Pat/Trish) Winker on October 8, 1955, in Harrison. He and his family loved living on Upper Kaubashine Lake in Hazelhurst for the last 50 years. Fuzzy and Pat enjoyed spending a few months each winter in Florida. Fuzzy was also the last founding member of the Minocqua Gun Club. Fuzzy retired from the Minocqua Post Office after many years of service.
Family was very important to Fuzzy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and everything in the great outdoors. His son and sons-in-law enjoyed the outdoors with Fuzzy. Recently, Fuzzy took up kayaking with his kids. We enjoyed our trips down the river last year.
Fuzzy’s family includes his wife Pat, their children; Mary Jo (Rudy) Sajdak, Judith (Paul) Griesinger, Joan (Rick) Bougie, Jay (Renee) Mallek and Nancy (Jason) Reuter; grandchildren; Blake, Justin, Brent, Ben, Jonathan, Katie Abby, Briar, Victoria and Nicholas; and nine great-grandchildren.
Fuzzy will be welcomed into Heaven by his granddaughter Tiffany, sister Joan and his parents Norma and Louie.
He was loved by many, be missed by all, and remembered fondly by all who met him.
Gone but not forgotten.
