John grew up in Madison, where he met the love of his life Tammy Egvedt. They married on Aug. 3, 1985 and moved to Minocqua in 1994. John enjoyed classic cars and auto racing. He worked at the Napa Store in Minocqua for the last 12 years retiring in May of this year. He enjoyed relaxing by the lake and campfires.
John was preceded in death by his mother Ruth. He is survived by his wife Tammy; father-in-law: Ken O. (Vicky) Egvedt; brother-in-law: Ken J. Egvedt; several nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many many friends.
John’s sense of humor and his love for life will forever be in our hearts and he will be greatly missed by many. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
