Carol F. Doede (Vollmer)
Carol was the co-owner and operator of Chef’s Fresh Pizza in Menasha for many years. She enjoyed going to her card club, crossword puzzles, reading books and her People Magazines. She loved getting her hair done on Friday and loved a great shrimp dinner with onion rings or cheese curds and a glass of White Zinfandel.
Carol is survived by her son Michael (Linda) Doede of Rhinelander, and daughter Chris (Jeffrey) Schommer of Arbor Vitae, and daughter Pauline Hill of Plymouth, and by grandchildren Stacie (Clark) Valukas, Stephanie (Alan) Ammerman, Matthew (Alyssa) Schommer, Benjamin Doede and Jessica Doede and by her great-grandchildren Olin Valukas, Macie and Hannah Ammerman, Leddy and Sonya Schommer and by her brothers Paul and Terry Vollmer and by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Duane and her parents Henry and Florence Vollmer and her brothers Eugene and James and her sister Edith.
Upon her wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff.
