James L. Zeise

James L. Zeise, 83, of Antigo, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022, at Rosemary Manor in Mattoon, Wisconsin. James was born on August 17, 1939, to Clarence and Lillian (nee VanBeek) Zeise. He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962 as a fire control technician before going to college for respiratory therapy. He was employed at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay for 35 years.  James was a member of the American Legion Post 318 in Lake Tomahawk, where he served as Chaplin and in the Honor Guard. James enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as all outdoor wildlife.
James is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; son, Paul; sisters, Betty (William) Wendlendt, Mary (Raymond) Burkard, Estelle (Leo) Zeutzius; brothers, Clarence Jr., Peter, Thomas, Robert, Donald and Richard. He is survived by his son Blayne and brother Roger.
