Jerome V. Francis

Jerome (Jerry) V. Francis, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020 at the age of 94. Jerry was born on March 25, 1926 in Chicago, where he worked with his family, delivered ice to baseball players, and spent time with his horse Rosie. Before enlisting in the Navy in 1942, Jerry met Alice Krips, where after their military service, they married on Oct. 14, 1948 and eventually moved north to raise their family in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
Jerry is survived by his children Scott (Jean) Francis, Jeff (Lee) Francis, and Janel (Kevin) Langs and by his grandchildren Emily (Andy), Jason (Holly), Marsha (Peter), and Jesse (Kaity). He is further survived by eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Alice Francis.  
Arrangements were by Bolger Funeral and Cremation Services, and private family services were held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, with full military honors, and will be buried next to his wife.
