Island City Dragon Boat Team members Charil Reis and her 16-year-old daughter Emma are set to take a trip overseas later this year to Pattaya, Thailand. There, Emma will represent the United States on the country’s first ever paradragons team in an international competition hosted by the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) — the 16th World Dragon Boat Racing Championship from Aug. 7-13.
