Price County sheriff takes responsibility for Pike Lake first responders’ no-show on July 17
On July 17, a horse back accident on State Highway 70 occurred in the Pike Lake area near the town of Fifield, and while the person riding the horse sustained minor injuries, first responders of Fifield’s fire department didn’t respond to the call. The horse back rider, according to those on scene, needed to wait roughly 30 minutes before the Park Falls ambulance arrived.
