Boulder Junction provides update on wake boat lawsuit

Town chairman Dennis Reuss says towns are forced to create ordinances even though the state owns the lakes

The Boulder Junction town board continued its discussion over its wake boat ordinance at its Sept. 22 meeting. Town clerk Dan Driscoll provided an update he received via email from the town’s lawyer Remzy Bitar on the $4.8 million wake boat ordinance lawsuit that Boulder Junction and Manitowish Waters are facing. He said the court has not decided yet whether it will dismiss the case or proceed.
