Never forget: 25th Anniversary of 9/11

While passing motorists honk horns in support, Minocqua fire chief Rich Carani, left, and Lt. Luke Taylor set up an American flag on the department’s Engine One in front of Minocqua’s fire station on U.S. Highway 51 on Friday, Sept. 11, the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack on U.S. soil in New York, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania. Carani said this was the first year the department has done a display on 9/11.
