Work on U.S. Highway 51 in downtown Minocqua resumes Sept. 8
Visitors bureau reminds people to allow extra travel time, asks for continued support of downtown businesses
Construction crews will return for two weeks in downtown Minocqua to do more work on U.S. Highway 51 before shutting down for Beef-A-Rama on Saturday, Sept. 26. According to a press release by state Department of Transportation, work is to continue on Hwy. 51 from Front Street to the Minocqua bridge; construction was paused in early June for the summer.
