Minocqua Area Visitors Bureau awarded almost $40,000 grant for regional bicycling tourism
The Minocqua Area Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $39,550 Year 1 Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) Grant through Travel Wisconsin. The funding will support the first phase of a three-year comprehensive initiative designed to establish the Minocqua area as a premier Northwoods bicycling destination, connecting the communities of Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, Hazelhurst, and Woodruff through outdoor recreation, strategic marketing, and destination development.
