Dr. John A. Kozisek

Dr. John A. Kozisek died unexpectedly on February 23, 2026, from a traumatic head injury. He was born in Chicago and grew up in Downers Grove, Ill. He attended Benet Academy for high school and then St. Procopius College (now called Benedictine University). After college he attended St. Louis University Medical School. Upon completion there he did an internship in Rockford, Ill. for one year followed by a four-year orthopedic residency in Detroit at Henry Ford Hospital.
