Volunteers from the museum’s docent program gather at the close of the 2024 season. With support from 30 docents and substitutes, the museum maintained summer hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomed 1,665 visitors from 38 states and nine foreign countries. Minocqua Museum opens for the season on June 8 — volunteers needed

The Minocqua Museum will open its doors for the season on June 8, and volunteers are invited to help welcome visitors throughout the summer. No experience or local‑history knowledge is required — just a friendly smile to greet vacationers and community members.
