The AV-W school district’s new principal Sid Hunter and district superintendent Dr. Jocelyn Hardy at the July 13 meeting of the school board. The meeting was the first for Hunter as AV-W principal. A former AV-W and Lakeland Union High School student, Hunter had been on the administrative staff at the Minocqua Hazelhurst Lake Tomahawk (MHLT) school district before he was hired by the AV-W school board in February, succeeding the retired Rich Fortier.
