A true outdoors experience for families
YMCA Family Camp Nawakwa was founded in 1923 and started out as a camp for boys and men. Alex Tymm, executive director of the camp, said it transformed into a family camp shortly after World War Two. He said there’s only about four or five YMCA family camps in the country.
