Photo detail

In this Jan. 22, 2026 file photo, Rhinelander’s Devon Feck attempts a 3-pointer with a combination game/shot clock in the background at Raider Hall in Medford. As of this winter Medford was one of only two gyms in the Great Northern Conference with shot clock capabilities. The WIAA approved the use of a shot clock for non-conference games, by mutual agreement of teams, beginning in the 2026-27 season. The full use of the shot clock, starting in 2028-29, will be put to a vote of WIAA member schools at next April’s WIAA annual meeting in Stevens Point. (Jeremy Mayo/River News)
