An Arbor Vitae man is being charged in Vilas County Court for being on school grounds without notifying Arbor-Vitae Woodruff Elementary School (AV-W) of his sex offender status. Robert “Bucky” Clause, 47, 397 U.S. Highway 51 Apartment 5 in Arbor Vitae, was formally charged on Jan. 23. The incident where he showed up to AV-W without providing notice occurred on Nov. 10, 2025.
