Sex offender Dustin Mitchell released with no notification

Tribal member blasts LdF leadership over years of missed alerts, unenforced sex‑offender laws

It’s customary for media outlets to get notification from law enforcement agencies when a registered sex offender has been released from prison and in what town or city that person will be living. A Lac du Flambeau man, Dustin Mitchell, 38, was convicted in 2018 in Dane County court for one count of repeated sexual assault of a child under 10 years old.
