Defense leads Lady T-Birds by Bluejays
The second half of Great Northern Conference play is underway, and the Lakeland girls’ basketball team avenged an earlier loss on Friday. The Thunderbirds beat Merrill 43-26 in Merrill. Lakeland evened up the season series at one apiece after the Bluejays beat the Thunderbirds 50-46 in Minocqua on Dec. 2.
