Waterfowl Congregate at the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge
As waterfowl in the Pacific Flyway prep to leave the wintering grounds and spread their wings for a migration northward, they rest and refuel at the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Colusa, Calif. The Colusa NWR is a subunit of the combined Sacramento NWR, which includes other units like Delevan, Sutter, and Llano Seco, all situated near the Interstate Five corridor in the northern region of the Sacramento Valley.
