The Minocqua Hazelhurst Lake Tomahawk School’s (MHLT) Firebird Foundation has begun its second annual Firebird Splash Contest in a new location on Mill Pond. Participants guess when the ice melts and the sign with the Firebird on it between Kurt’s Islands Sports Shop and SaveMore falls in. A cash prize will be awarded.
