Alesha Swanson, 33, was sentenced in Vilas County court on Wednesday, Feb. 4, after pleading guilty to two felony counts of theft in a business setting greater than $100,000 and fraudulent writings/by forgery. Swanson was charged Jan. 24, 2025, after an investigation alleged that she embezzled over $100,000 from Jim Meier Builders LLC in Manitowish Waters, her place of employment for almost a decade.
