UW-Madison students visit Kemp Natural Resources Station to spend spring in the woods
Each spring, a cohort of University of Wisconsin forestry students makes the trek from Madison to Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff to spend their spring break in the woods. It is part of the FWE 305 Forest Operations class, which is taught during the winter semester by Scott Bowe, Station superintendent and professor of wood Products, with help from local consulting forester Matt Carothers.
