Peace Lutheran Church celebrates 25 years

Arbor Vitae church was established in 2000

Twenty-five years ago today, Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church was officially organized and became the Lakeland area’s newest church. It would take an additional three years before the church found a permanent home in Arbor Vitae, but a faithful congregation was established with Roland Radke of Minocqua as the first president and Rev. Harold Winter acting as spiritual counselor until a permanent was eventually chosen.
