A miracle in Minocqua
On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the Minocqua police department’s dispatch center received a 911 call. Former Minocqua resident Rick Derrick of Decatur, Ala., and his sister, Celjie Maata of Neenah, had come to the family home just south of the U.S. Highway 51 bridge in Minocqua.
