A preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Vilas County court for Chandler Savel, 20, the St. Germain man charged in August with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle in connection with a head-on motorcycle crash on County Highway H near Sundance Trail in Lac du Flambeau the night of Oct. 18, 2024.
