Franciscan Sisters cede Marywood property to LdF Tribe

Historic land transfer is ‘the first of its kind’

The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, a Catholic religious congregation, formally transfered ownership of the Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center property in Arbor Vitae to the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians on Friday, Oct. 31.
