The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced on March 13 that for the first time in 100 years, cougar cubs were spotted living in the wild. State biologists, the Michigan DNR said, confirmed the felines caught on camera were indeed cougar cubs. The infant animals were seen on private land in Ontonagon County, which is on the Upper Peninsula’s northwest side.
