For my second review during Western Month, I was tasked with an epic movie that featured one of my favorite actors from the 1950s. “The Big Country” came out Aug. 13, 1958 and features Gregory Peck, Jean Simmons, Carroll Baker, Charlton Heston, Burl Ives, Charles Bickford and Chuck Connors.
