Woodruff man to be sentenced in April for reckless homicide

A 34-year-old Woodruff man is scheduled to be sentenced in Vilas County court on April 3 for one count of first degree reckless homicide. According to the original complaint filed against Jeremy L. LaPalm, the Vilas County dispatch center received a 911 call at approximately 9:16 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, reporting a person had overdosed at a residence in Eagle River and needed an ambulance.
