The once viral sensation and winter icon in Minocqua, Snowmy Kromer, a giant 35-foot snowman that dons his own custom Stormy Kromer hat (hence the name) is back for the first time in two years. Last week, Dec. 16-18, Greater Minocqua Area Visitors Bureau president and CEO Krystal Westfahl and volunteers constructed the corn cob pipe smoking snowman at a new location, too — Torpy Park.
