GLITC holds emergency management summit
Bainbridge: ‘It gave real-life, real-time scenarios’
The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council (GLITC) conducted an emergency management summit at the Lake of The Torches Casino in Lac du Flambeau on Aug. 14. The purpose of the summit, according to a press release issued prior to the event, was to bring together tribal leaders, members of GLITC staff and local, state and “national experts” to help guide GLITC’s new strategic plan intended to support member tribes with emergency management planning.
