Fishing hall-of-famer in a ‘class by himself’ will live on as a legend
The Northwoods lost another legendary guide in Van “Vanny” Jolin recently, when he died on July 30. Jolin was considered one of the area’s top guides for many, many years. His friends and clients knew him to be quick witted, always having stories to tell.
