Writing can help us reconcile with the changes confronting our favorite places and lead us to new ways of honoring, tending and sharing those places. “Writing From a Changing Place,” a special, free writing workshop on Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to noon, with author Tamara Dean at Frank B. Koller Memorial Library in Manitowish Waters, will guide you through depicting a beloved landscape in a vivid and compelling way. It will invite you to explore adaptations and futures that connect ourselves and our surroundings.
