Lakeland STAR welcomes special guest speaker

Magro encourages students to specialize in their interests, advocates against bullying

The Lakeland STAR School/Academy welcomed a special guest speaker on Nov. 14. Kerry Magro is an award winning speaker and is on the autism spectrum himself. He’s well-accomplished in his professional life and emphasized to the students he spoke with to find a way to specialize in their interests He also encouraged them to research their disabilities.
