Lazy Time for Bucks

If you’re at all curious what the lifestyle of a mature buck is this time of year in the Big-woods, the picture pretty well shows you at least the stage of how the antler development is progressing. What is comical, is the fact that even during mid-summer they will still take time out of their busy schedule to check in at one of my “licking branches,” as you notice in the photo, simply to investigate if any other deer have passed by their area.
