Ticks are everywhere in the Northwoods. While lyme disease is the most popular tick-borne illness people hear about, there are a number of others a person can contract from tick bites — from anaplasmosis, the second most common tick-spread illness in Wisconsin, to Rocky Mountain spotted fever, a less common illness for people in Wisconsin yet one of the most serious.
