Ice skate marathon benefits Minocqua Winter Park
75 participants, more than $3,000 raised
For the third time in 22 years, an ice skate marathon was held in the Lakeland area. The event this year, a fundraiser for Minocqua Winter Park, offered 10K, 20K and 40K options for kids, women and men. While top finishers were recognized, the event placed a specific focus on skaters having fun.
