On April 9, 2024, Jeanne Brown passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by her family. Born on May 18, 1930, she was one of ten siblings, daughter of Paul and Marie Poupart. On the cusp of age 94, she was the oldest Lac du Flambeau tribal member.
