‘I’m here to serve’

Marquis Johnson, a 2012 graduate of Lakeland Union High School (LUHS) who joined the U.S. Army in 2018 and reached the rank of first lieutenant before an injury prompted his medical discharge three years later, was, along with fellow veteran Gunnar Dunbar, a keynote speaker at LUHS’s Veterans Day program on Thursday, Nov. 9.
