Vilas County circuit court judge Martha Milanowski presided over a May 25 status hearing regarding a recount appeal filed by Presque Isle’s incumbent town chairman John MacLean on April 19 against the Board of Canvassers of the Town of Presque Isle, newly elected town clerk Billy Rae Thoma and former town clerk and MacLean’s challenger Lorine Walters.
