Lakeland softball almost beats Medford in home debut

Lakeland softball met up with two of the best teams in the Great Northern Conference. The Thunderbirds had trouble scoring runs in back-to-back games. Antigo beat the Thunderbirds 4-0 on Thursday in Antigo. Lakeland made their home debut Friday against the undefeated Medford Raiders. The Raiders won 2-1 in a game that came down to the final inning.
