Two Vilas County students place well in state land and water competition

Two Vilas County youth placed well in the Wisconsin Land+Water Conservation Awareness Poster and Speaking Contest. The theme of the poster contest this year was, “One Water.” The theme brought out the imaginations of kids across the state. Speech contestants were able to speak on any conservation issues of importance in the state. Through local competitions, winners then competed at the state level.
