Volunteers help to track rare plants in Wisconsin
Rare plants are important parts of the landscape in the state. The Rare Plant Monitoring Program asks volunteers to head out to find rare plants and report data back about those plants. The information from volunteer surveys is used to “asses plant population trends during state and national conservation efforts,” according to the program website.
