Vilas County forestry committee OKs 445-acre land purchase

Committee will seek formal support from Plum Lake and Conover

Members of Vilas County’s forestry, recreation and land committee Tuesday agreed to move forward with a land acquisition of 445 acres, 400 of which falls within the town of Plum Lake and the remainder in the town of Conover.
