Movie Review: “The Super Mario Bros Movie”

Let’s a-go… to the movies!

Produced by Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment, “The Super Mario Bros Movie” was released in April of 2023. It was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, with Illumination founder Chris Meledandri and Mario series creator Shigeru Miyamoto serving as producers. The film has made over $1 billion in profits, more than ten times its $100 million budget.
