MacLean’s appeal of Presque Isle’s April 12 recount continues
Oral ruling now set for Aug. 31
It was a marathon in Vilas County court on July 19 with regard to a hearing in the case of Presque Isle’s incumbent town chairman John MacLean and his appeal of an April 12 recount of the April 4 election; where he came up short to stay chairman by one vote to his challenger, long-time town clerk Lorine Walters.
