Movie Review: Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio

An enchanting stop-motion adaptation of a classic tale

Written, produced, and directed by Guillermo del Toro, his iteration of "Pinocchio" was released on Netflix on December 9, 2022. It was made by Netflix Animation, Shadowmachine, and Double Dare You, with assistance from the Jim Henson Company. The film features a cast of Ewan McGregor, Gregory Mann, Ron Perlman, John Tuturro, Cate Blanchett, and Tilda Swinton.
